🗣️ Explain It!
Teams race the clock: explain as many words as you can — without saying them!
Teams race against the clock. One player explains a word to their own team — without saying it — and the team shouts out guesses.
A round
• Teams take turns; inside each team the explainer changes every time, so everyone gets to explain.
• The explainer’s phone shows the word. Tap ✓ (or swipe right) when your team guesses it, ✗ (or swipe left) to skip.
• You must not say the word itself, words with the same root, translations or “sounds like…”.
• Your teammates do not see the word — only the timer. The other teams DO see it on their phones: they watch for cheating!
• When time runs out, the last word can still be guessed by ANY team. The explainer marks who got it — that team gets the point.
Checking
• After the round the explaining team sees the list and can fix mistakes (tap a word to switch ✓/✗). Then confirm.
• ✓ = +1 point. ✗ = 0, or −1 if the skip penalty is on.
Modes
• 🗣️ Explain — in words. 🤐 Show — gestures only, no sounds. 🎲 Mix — every word says what to do: explain, show or ✍️ draw in the air.
Victory
• After a full lap (every team had the same number of turns) the team with the most points at or above the goal wins. In the “everyone explains” mode the game ends when every player has explained at least once. A tie — an extra lap!
